Cranberry Dress

So this is the result of all my work yesterday.  I am really proud of it because I drew the pattern out by hand.  It needs some adjustments, but I really love it.  I want to drop the neckline just a little and raise the waistline.  I also want the ruffle to be a little less ruffle-y and the band at the waist a little smaller.

I was originally going to make it a jumper but couldn't decide if I liked the idea or not, and since I had to get a pic in to Joy @ Mommas Kinda Crafty for the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway, I decided to just hold of and try it out next time.

Did I mention I will be giving a dress like this away for the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaway?  My giveaway day is December 5, so don't forget to come by for a chance to win and check out all the other giveaways, too!

After the giveaway, I will be posting this pattern for free download, so if you like it check back after Dec 12...I am not sure if I will have it up right away, depends on how long it takes for me to work all the kinks out...but I'll keep you posted...

Huge thank you to Amanda @ Today's Top Twenty for featuring this dress!  She rounds up cute ideas from all over blogland from crafts to recipes!  She really  has a good eye! Go check her out!
