My First Blogswap with Olivia Renn ♥

I am really excited today to have Macey from Olivia Renn guest posting on my blog!  She is super sweet and super crafty, so hop over to her blog and check it out!...well, read her post here, then, go check out her blog. ; )  I know you are going to love it!

BTW,  Macey, did ya notice the heart!!!  I love it!

My name is Macey and I am the proud mother of 2 beautiful boys, the wife of a loving husband, and the founder of my local Mom's club. The Olivia Renn blog has been a great outlet for me to direct some of my creative energy in a really fun way. I find myself constantly thinking of different ideas to try out and show all of you my results. Some things are inspired by other great crafting blogs, and others come out of my crafty little head. Please follow me or leave a comment if you like any of my crafting projects, and definitely send me a link if you have a blog of your own.

Today I'm showing you how to make a Rolled Fabric Flower Wreath

I picked four different colored fabrics. I think it took about 1/2 yard of each (it depends how big your wreath is).
I cut them into strips. I started the strip with scissors then ripped the rest so the edges would be frayed. I folded it in half. At the top of the strip (the folded part) I tied a knot.

The twisted and rolled the fabric around the knot.

I then used a hot glue gun and glued it to the wreath. I tried to make them different sizes so it would be varied.

Now just do this until the wreath is filled up. It was super easy to do, but it does take some time.

To Hang:
I glued a piece of ribbon on the wreath, then glued the fabric flowers around it so it wouldn't show. This would make a great gift, or change the colors up and you could have a beautiful holiday wreath. Thanks so much! Don't forget to come over to Olivia Renn and check out my craftiness!
