Week 2 Results & Next Weeks Theme

Wow!  The ladies had another great week of sewing!  I can't say it enough how impressed Bree and I are with all they were able to accomplish in a weeks time!  So, who's moving on?

Andi from Laundry on the Line used the most fabric, and automatically moved on to Week 3.  She used an amazing 16.75 yards of fabric!

"This week I had a lot of fun creating some Extra Ordinary things.
I began by recovering my ironing board. I love this fabric so much and this way I get to look at it every day. It almost makes ironing fun! (Almost.)

I then created a tablecloth and place mats for our kitchen table and a bright, summery, cloth for our picnic table.

I also used up some single yards of fabric creating pocket organizers for two of the rooms in our house, a car trash bag, and a wood tote for carrying logs from the woodpile to the wood stove.

I decided to have a little fun with some ordinary shirt fabrics by turning them into a panelled circle skirt. This was my first ever circle skirt and although there were some doubtful moments I'm pleased with the way it turned out."

The winner of the Extra Ordinary challange is Ellie from Homestitched
with her Extra Ordinary Park Day!

So who else is moving on?

Erin from Munchkin Makings

Angie from Mama Lusco

Sadly, we have to say good bye to someone.  Mandy from Sugar Bee Crafts
made this adorable bustle dress and veil!

We hope you'll continue to follow along and destash... we'll be checking in on you. Maybe you can come back as our wild card for the final challenge!

With week 2 out of the way, our contestants can start in on their projects for week 3! Bree will host the voting at The Extra Ordinary Bree on Friday!

What's the theme?

Puddle Jumping!

Can't wait to see what they make next!!

Congrats to all the ladies. When I voted I had such a tough time between the park day and the boys. They were my two favorites. I am glad both moved on.
