Before I was a blogger...

I was looking through all of my old memory cards last night, and while looking through the thousands of pics I found some of the first crafts I made and sewing I did before I started blogging...

This was my first tutu and I made the shirt and wings and headband!  lol!  To gather the shirt, I sewed real slow and pinced the fabric together as it went under the presser foot!

My friend Jennifer and I made the little shirts for both our daughters.  We made tulle wings that we sewed to the back of them.

It took me 3 months to finish this!

You saw this one in my pixie tutu tutorial.

I made this tutu for my friends daughter's birthday present

My cousin is a labor and delivery nurse and I started out making some of these surgery hats for her and one of her friends (well, at the time she had switched to surgury) and I ended up making them for every one in the surgery department.  I made about 300 in two months time!...Especially when the saints went to the super bowl!  I had to buy almost and entire bolt of Saints fabric!

Sophie loved this tutu because she picked the tulle at the fabric store herself.  It was her reward for not cutting up...lol

I made or helped my friend make this necklace.  We used the free pattern on Amy Butler's website.

these were for my sisters graduation party...I didn't follow any instructions, and I guess I folded them wrong because they ended up not being complete circles

Ian wanted a super hero cape and I didn't have any fabric, so I convinced my hubby to let me use one of his old shirts for the project....I hated this shirt...really, really hated it I had been trying to get rid of it for years...lucky he can't say no to anything if it's for the kids...

one of three purses I made for my sisters...I hated this purse because I drew the pattern from one of there friends purses and never could figure out how to turn the darn thing, so I had to sew straps together by hand using a blind stitch!  What a pain!

They loved them though...although they have already quit using them...

I made this little shirred halter dress for my neices b-day...she loves watermelon clothes and instantly thought I have to make her a dress when I saw this fabric...It was really funny because she opened the bag and looked and and said, "It's underwear"  and moved on to the next present...thankfully she did like it once we took it out the bag!
