My First Crack at Homecoming Dresses....

This year I made my sisters homecoming dresses....following a pattern isn't exactly my favorite thing to do, so it took me forever to finish them. I just get so bored when there is nothing to figure out... but in the end Adriana loved hers and Kristen was semi-pleased with hers...she said it needed to be taken in and she looked fat...but in my defense at her last fitting she said she loved it. I think she looked adorable, but she is pretty hard to please as far as clothes are concerned so I'll just take it in and hopefully she will like it then. Anyway, here are some pics. Adriana's dress (the blue one) is a butterick pattern #B5209, and Kristen's (the red one) is Simplicity2406.

They are both beautiful! Girls are silly when it comes to: It makes this or that part look fat... Being a girl, I know I have done it. I think they look really great!
