Noel Acadien au Village

Go to Acadian Village every year for Noel Acadien au Village...or as we simply call it the Christmas lights!  It is so amazing!  It's an entire village completely filled with Christmas lights.  I had to share some pics...

Is he cute or what?!?

We always get there early so we get hot roasted peanuts and sit under the pavillion and eat them and watch the ducks until it is dark.

I love the little tiger...or is it a fox...Maybe it's a fox...  Anyway, he is so cute.

It is so fun to watch him making all the different forged steal items!

Knitted on site...or maybe crocheted...I'm not expirienced enough to tell the difference...

We got ta have our crawfish sha!  lol!  Yeah, I'm cajun...you just can't tell cause I don't have an accent.  ;P

This is so cute the lights move and it looks like the farmer is chasing the rabbit!  They have lots of things like this throughout the village.  Very cool!

I had to save the best for last...This church is COMPLETELY COVERED with lights.  I think it is just about everybody's favorite.  You really have to see it in person.  I try to get a picture every year that can do it justice but I think it's just one of those things you have to see for yourself...kwim...  My aunt actually got married in this church...It was really nice.

After you have seen all the lights they have section with rides for the kids and a pavillion with kids singing Christmas carols and you can get food and hot chocolate...I swear I enjoy it more than the kids!

It's like that warm fuzzy feeling you have after watching White Christmas or It's a Wonderful Life...only sooooo much better!

Me and my little baby boy!  I love his face in this pic!  It is just so him!

And I told you I would post some pics of my niece Shyla wearing her tutu so here they are....

Told ya this baby was huge!  She loved it and my sil was so happy with the way everything turned out, so that made me smile...♥
