Cute Cowgirl!

Another one for my local fabric shop....It's big for Sophie, but I decided to start making them a size bigger because by the time I am getting them back they are too small for her to wear.  : (  But I think it still looks really adorable on her.  It's made from the Sew Beautiful Summer Separates Pattern.  I really liked it.  There were a few spots where I was confused and I sewed the bottom band on wrong because I was in a hurry and didn't read the intructions too much at the end...not that it really matters...it looks the same from the outside so whatever...  I would definately recommend this pattern though. I found everything to be pretty well explained.  I got confused on a few parts but that may have been because I was rushing, but for my $12 I got 3 bodice styles with the option to make a shirt, tunic or dress plus two different styles of pants.  You could literally make a whole summer wardrobe using just this pattern....not to mention it goes from I think sizes 2-12, and it shows you how to make different trims, flowers, etc.  I really like this pattern and I can't wait to make the little pants!  They are just adorable!

I wish I had used brown pompoms along bottom instead of pink, so they would stand out more and it would have gone better with the brown piping on the bodice,  but other than that I am happy with it.

This was my first time using piping and I think I am in love with it now!  It just gives it such a finished look.  I need some practice with it though.

I think this is my favorite pic....is she beautiful or what????
