Tell me about Twitter....

So I have been going back and forth now for awhile, but the truth is I don't really know anything about it.  Is it pretty much the same as FB?  How do people find you on twitter?  Would it help to expand my blog?  I am already pretty busy so if it requires alot of time it's definately not for me right now...I would really love to hear your opinions about it....

I opened one to get extra entries and to build a network for my blog.
It like FB but just posts of people leaving little snippits about what they are thinking, liking, and so forth the @soandso is used and shows up for them to see. people follow you who don't know you, but maybe your tweet carried that far? I don't know.
I know lots of businesses want Twitter and FB so it might help you out networking wise.

I LOVE twitter! haha. Personally, I hate facebook and only keep it because it's how our church gets events and things out a lot. With twitter, you can text something and it can even be retweeted. So, you could say, new blog post and even post a link, and any follower that saw it and liked it, would retweet it and all of their followers immediately see your tweet about your post! I really like that it's kind of like facebook, except no comments and pictures, but you can follow people you know or people you'd love to know. It's neat to me that I see the thoughts and funny things from my best friend's day and right under it, I see the same things about Beth Moore's day, or David Crowder. hmm...I seem a little passionate, lol, but I'm all about fun social things online that require NO time or work :)
