A No~Sew Fix

My wonderful hubby loves to buy the kids clothes...especially if he finds something on sale.  The only bad part is he has no idea that the size means anything apparently because he always comes home with things that are way too big!  I honestly have a jacket for Sophie that is a size 14!  Uh, yeah, she's 3!  lol Anyhow, he bought her this Kia Lan  shirt that she loves, but it is much to big for her.  I don't really want to fix it because I figured she can just wear it when she gets older, but she insists on wearing it now!  So, I came up with a no-sew fix...just tie a ribbon around the straps in the back!  It's cute, and now the straps aren't always falling down!

Now if I were going to do this, and we were going somewhere, I would use a large ribbon (1.5"- 2") and make a nice big bow, but she was playing outside and rolling in the dirt so I just grab the first thing I could find...

What's your favorite no-sew fix ideas?
