Rock your Runway! ~ Morning Rountine

So I had a few outfits I wore this week that I meant to take pics of, but I kept forgetting because every time I got dressed to go somewhere, I was running late...I know, I know, you're shocked aren't you!  Me. Late. Never!  lol  Anyway, by the time I would get home I would forget all about taking pics.

So, I decided to share my morning routine with you...downside, I don't have a cute outfit...although I think my LSU shirt is completely awesome, I'm pretty sure all the non-LSU fans won't really care about it.... upside, I am going to humiliate myself and show you pics of me in the am sans makeup!

Try not to laugh to hard!

so here's the before and after....

First up, I clean my face with toner and apply makeup primer.  I use Arbonne.  Then, I use concealer on my eyelids from lash to brow and under my eyes...I think it makes me look like an albino raccoon...lol.

Next, I put a lite brown shadow on my bottom lid (the part that closes), the lightest shade on the top, and use a liner brush to line my lashes using the darkest shade...I only do this from the center of the lid to the outside...You could skip the liner, but my top lids slant down a lot, so adding the liner from the center to outside pulls them up...

Now heres my favorite two makeup items!  I use Bare Minerals well rested under my eyes, then Maybelline Colossal Volume just on the top lashes.  I love this mascara!  It's cheap, it doesn't clump, and most important it doesn't irritate my eyes!  My eyes are super sensitive, and I have even slept in this one and it didn't bother me...the only other one that I have ever been able to sleep in was arbonne, but it is expensive, and I have to order it...plus I don't find it gives me the volume this one does, but I did like it.

Last, I apply sonia kashuk mineral foundation.  I really love this one because it covers, I don't feel it on my face, it stays put...even when I wore it all day to the beach...and once again...it's cheap!  I paid $14 for the concealer, foundation, blush combo...although I won't use the blush because it's too light for my taste...I gotta have my bright blush!  It's still worth the $$ just for the concealer and fondation, but next time I will buy them separately.  Then I add bronzer, across my tops of my cheeks, hairline, and chin.  Then blush...I used cover girl in peach...but as soon as I am out...which this stuff seems to be lasting forever... definitely worth the $4 I paid since I have had it for at least a year now, but I have been desperately waiting to run out so I can splurge on Bare Minerals vintage peach...I love how glowy it is!

Anyhow, I finish up by brushing my eyebrows and coloring them with the left over eye shadow from my liner brush...they tend to look washed out because of the foundation getting in them...

and now my makeup is done...time for the hair!

my hair is pretty easy since it's curly...I just have to fix my bangs with my flat iron and tease up any areas that are flat.  Spray and done!  Oh and if it's really frizzy I put some bio silk in it and that's it...

If I'm not taking pics, it takes me maybe 10 mins total...I used to always say I didn't have time to put makeup on, but surprisingly I actually get more done when I have makeup on.  I think it's because it gets me out of my lazy mode...

so now it's your turn!

@ Karen I use the target brand...I used to use Almay but saw this at target and I was quite a bit cheaper...I usually like their up & up products so decided to give it a try, and I loved it. It's the purple one
