Sophie and I spent the day together Monday. We had lunch at the mall, then we walked around looking at shoes, purses, and jewelry. We checked out the halloween costumes at TCP...which are cute, but I will never understand why they send those big stuffed animal style costumes to Louisiana! Seriously??? It's usually like at least in the 70's for Halloween plus take humidity into account! Who is going to put that on their child??? Poor babies must sweat like crazy! Don't get me wrong, sometimes it is cold for halloween, but it's few and far between, and I still don't think it's cold enough for those things! Anyhow, here's the break down:
Shirt: Old Navy $17
Pants: Old Navy $20
Shoes: Jessica Simpson $15 (clearance at Dillards!!!)
My grandma makes fun of these pants every time I wear them! She says "sha-p-chay(that's cajun french, and I have no idea if I spelled it right most likely I didn't but basically it means you poor thing or that's pitiful...I don't really know the exact translation but you get the idea... anyhow, she tells me "sha-p-chay! if you can't afford to buy you some pants without holes I'll buy them for you!" And I tell her I bought them this way, and she just laughs at me...
When we were at the mall, I saw a girl with an outfit similar to this, so when I got home. I checked out my closet and put this together...I am not sure about the boots...she had knee high riding boots...I think I will have to wear some other shoes...but I like the jacket and the skirt with the shirt...What do you think??
