And it only took 2 years...

lol... I cut this scarf out two years ago when I first got my sewing machine...or was it a year???  I don't know.  Regardless, it sat in my sewing room since then because I didn't know at the time that when you have thicker fabrics that won't feed well, you just have to lengthen your stitch a bit...and once I did know this, I always had so many other things going I never finished it...

But as part of my cleaning out and organizing, I am trying to finish all the projects I started and never finished.  So this scarf finally got done!  And it only took me two years!!  You may have noticed I haven't really posted many sewing projects lately, and it's because 1) most of the sewing I have been doing has been small stuff like sewing buttons back on, etc...just trying to get my sewing room cleaned out.  2) I have two big projects going on right now: Sophie's b-day party and organizing a benefit to raise money for my grandmother to be able to get treatment for her COPD...She has tried lots of different meds over the years and nothing has really helped her, so we found a new treatment online, but it is waaayy expensive, so we are doing all we can to raise the money for her to get the treatment in March since she her condition has gotten much worse recently.  Anyways, so I will be busy with that over the next couple months, but I will try to post as much as possible.

So, okay now that I got my ramble out let me share my pics of Sophie...she wanted to model the scarf for me...most of the pics are blurry but still so cute...at least I think so!  ; )
