Shoe Love Linky Party!

So I stopped by Cato...I have no clue why because I never shop there...I just don't think about it, I guess. I went in and saw a cute little pair of shoes and wanted to try them on with no intention of buying them until I turned them over to see the size and saw that they were $3!  So long story short, I ended up with four fabulous pairs of shoes for $30!  I am sooooo excited!  I just want to wear them all day!  But I don't think my heels would go with the pjs I 'm sportin' right now!  lol  Don't know if you know this but I am a bit of a shoe fanatic.  My mom says I have a sickness....this is while she's purchasing 4 pairs herself...lol!  So I figured it might be fun to share our favorite shoes!  So I am opening up a little linky party dedicatied to your favorite shoes!  Post about your favorite shoes then come link it up here!  You can show me one or show me every pair in your closet!  I want to see  them all!  I will leave the party open until valentine's day and I will post more of my shoes periodically....cause I love showing off my shoes!  I can't wait to see yours!

Startin' Early for Orphaned No More!!!!!!!!!

Okay ladies!...and gentlemen....if there are any of you floating around! ;P  I know I said Sew Crafty Saturday would start on the first of the year, but I recently discovered Orphaned No More.  Daleea has launched a 3000 bracelet campaign to bring her precious Isabella home...she needs to sell 3000 bracelets to bring her daughter home.  I was so touched I knew I had to do something to help!  I am actually crying as I write this...and really...if ya know me...I don't cry!  But look at this beautiful little girl!  It breaks my heart that she is alone half a world away from a family that desparetly wants to hold her in their arms.

I contacted Daleea today and told her I would like to feature her blog when I started my linky party to try to help get the word out, she told me that she would love to be featured and what a blessing it would be because she will be leaving on January 14th to get Isabella and they are still $4000 short of their goal....hence the starting early!

Get Organized Giveaway!!!!

Wow!  Black Friday already?!?  Seriously?  So I guess the holiday season snuck up on me again.  Lucky for me, all my Christmas shopping is already done!  (No seriously, it's only because I love to shop....NOT because I am organized)  But I'm working on it.  I recently discovered two new organizational items I love.  The first one is Motivated Moms.  Her website describes it as :

"a printable chore planning system to help you have a clean and organized home and still have time for yourself!

Motivated Moms is a great idea for anyone who would like an easy system to help them to know what to do each day.

Just consult the list, do the work, check it off for the day and enjoy your free time!"

The second is Saving Dinner by Leanne Ely.  I just recently ordered it, and it is exactly what I have been looking for!  I love the recipes (very kid friendly...for my kids they are anyway) , and it is divided into seasons.  Then, each season has six weeks of meal plans and a shopping list to go with each week. The shopping lists are long, but most of the items are already in your pantry so you can just mark them off.  She has the original book, then she also has a low-carb (this is the one I got), vegetarian, and holiday versions.

So here's how it works:

• Post a link to a specific post (not your home page) of something you made, it can be food, crafts, sewing, I'm not picky as long as it is something you made
• Please do not link up items for sale
• Grab my button and put it below your post

DIY Halloween Linky Party & Tutu Giveaway

Okay guys, I am super excited! I am hosting my very first linky party! My friend Krystle and I are having a Halloween party, so I need your best ideas! Link up all your favorite DIY Halloween ideas.
