Day 5 of 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways & An Announcement!

Yay!  I am so excited!  Today is my turn to host a giveaway for the 12 Days of Christmas Giveaways, and I am giving away my Cranberry Dress!

I am really excited about this dress because as I mentioned before, I drew the pattern by hand. I cannot wait to make it again!

To enter:

Become a follower.  Then, leave a comment telling me you are a follower and tell me your favorite Christmas memory or tradition.

Extra Entries:

Like Wildflowers & Whimsy on Facebook...it's in the left sidebar...and leave me a comment telling me you did so.  (1 entry)

Post my linky party button (at the bottom of this post) in the sidebar or linky party list of your blog  and leave me a comment telling me you did so and where to look for it.  (1 entry)

Please leave comments separately for each entry and include an email so that I can contact you if you win.  If you prefer not to include an email you are responsible for checking back to see if you have won once the giveaway closes on 12/8/2010.  The winner will be annouced on 12/9/2010.  And the dress will be shipped after January 1 because I will have to draw out your pattern, etc.

So what's the announcement?

I am starting a weekly linky party!  I love looking at all the other ones around blogland and being inspired by all you creative people out there, so I figured why not just have one right here! I am calling it Sew Crafty Saturday, and it will start the first Saturday in January!  So mark your calenders and come link up!

Thanks again to Joy over at Momma's Kinda Crafty for putting on this giveaway!  I am having a blast seeing all the other giveaways and checking out all the other blogs!

Hi there, I am a new follower. :) Would you follow me too? I am hosting a give away as well. http://jansiesfancies.blogspot.com/

Our tradition is to go see a Holiday themed movie on Christmas Eve, then cruise the neighborhoods looking at all the pretty lights, then come home and drink hot chocolate with marshmallows and candy cane stirrers and open ONE present from under the tree. It is always magical. :)

Hi, I added you to my Google Reader feed. My favorite Christmas memory is that we would come down to find all of our presents sorted in a chair with our stockings on top ---- but we waited for the grown-ups and only got to open one present at a time in turn. We had to look at and talk about the person who gave us the present before we could go on. . . helped keep grandparents, cousins, Aunts/Uncles high in our hearts.

I'm a new follower! One of my fave traditions from growing up was on Christmas Eve my dad would read a story from a children's magazine called "Boliver Bog, the Pirate Frog" - it had ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with Christmas, but he read it every year and it was the only time we heard it, too!
